Female Fertility Guidelines- Promoting Ovulation with Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine

In TCM there is a method where the female fertility treatment is based on the cycle as follows:-

Day 1 to 10 – Nourish Kidney Yin (endometrium thickening, dominant follicle

Day 11 to 14 – Promote qi and blood circulation (cervix produces mucus, ovulation)

Day 15-24 – Tonify Kidney Yang ( Fertilisation, corpus luteum forms, embryo passes down fallopian tubes

Day 25 – 28 – Promote qi and blood circulation (Embryo implants, the blastocyst implants in the uterine wall)

Different acupuncture points are used in different stages and the herbal prescriptions.    This Plan promotes fertility in women effectively.  70 studies from 1980 – 2000 show that acupuncture is effective for infertility,  the total effective rate is 81.34 – 81.07% according to  Nanjing University research.
